SPECIAL EVENTSNational Ballroom Dance Week Open HouseFriday, September 24th 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. Beginners Cha Cha Lesson taught by Christa Quackenbush - FREE! Dance demonstrations by Washington Dance Club’s students and pros! In the lesson at 8:00 learn the basics of Cha Cha, add Latin hip motion, turns and spins and put it all together on the dance floor! Stay for the dance at 9:00 p.m. where dancers of all levels and styles will take to the dance floor to demonstrate various styles of dancing from the romantic Waltz to seductive Tango to hot Salsa and Cha Cha! Demonstrations are followed by plenty of general dancing where you can try out your new skills or strut your stuff if you already know how to dance. Half-Price Introductory Special Two half-hour private lessons, one group class, admission to one Friday or Sunday night dance party for only $22.50 (regularly $45, $90 retail value) if you sign up during the Open House. We will buy the song if we can find it, play it during the Friday Dance and let the dancers be the judge of whether it’s a keeper. People who submit the best songs win prizes!
